I absolutely love lunch with a sandwich in it! And remember to wash your lunch box daily! It is so important because it prevents germs and bacteria build-up.
Now we come to the fun part—assembling the sandwich! However, I prefer to take whole wheat bread for my sandwiches instead of using white bread as it is healthier. And whole wheat bread makes me feel more energetic and satisfied. You can also use wraps or pita bread, which is a fantastic alternative if you want. Next, it’s time to layer on a protein, such as turkey or chicken, that will help keep your body strong. Something else I enjoy is adding fresh veggies like crisp lettuce, sweet tomato, and refreshing cucumber. These vegetables are delicious in my sandwich! To make it easier, I like to add some cheese for flavor and creaminess.
Turkey and Avocado Sandwich — Things begin with an application of mashed avocado. Then put some turkey down followed by fresh lettuce and tomato slices and enjoy a delicious sandwich.
Veggie Wrap: Spread some hummus across a whole wheat wrap and load it with spinach leaves, sliced cucumbers, crunchy carrot and colored pepper. A healthier, but equally fun to eat wrap!
Egg Salad Sandwich – For this delicious sandwich, you can just chop hard-boiled eggs and mix with a little mayo, salt, and pepper. Go ahead and spread this mix on your bread with a little lettuce and tomato and have yourself a delicious meal.
Grilled Cheese With Spinach and Tomato — You can make a sandwich out of the classic (like whole wheat bread) but then layer it with some fresh spinach and sliced tomatoes for a healthy spin.
