The great thing is you can add any design, color, and texture you want with cardboard!
The best part of cardboard cake design is, no rules! You are given the liberty to create any design you desired. You could make a cake that looks like a castle, a princess, a unicorn, or the logo of your favorite sports team. Now it is the time to unleash the creativity in your mind!
You might also like to add some fun decorations to your cake. Throw some glitter on there so it sparkles, tie some ribbons around├óΓ鼪something tasteful, of course; you know what I mean? It does take some patience to build a cardboard cake but when you see the end result it’s totally worth it! First up, ensure your cake is sitting on a sturdy cardboard base. You really need a solid base for this cake, as it will support all the layers you will be adding on top of it.
Next, cut out the cake layers based on your design and carefully glue them together. Then pile the layers on top of each other and cover them with smooth cardboard for a nice look. First, paint the cardboard layers in accordance with the style you design. Feel free to use whatever colors you want! Then, you can add whatever small decorations you want, trees. flowers, stars, or even little animals to your cake and, your cardboard cake is ready for display!
Castle princess cake: Parent, you cut out a large rectangle for a base and two triangles for the top of the castle. You make towers by rolling up cardboard tubes and gluing them to the castle walls. Color the castle walls pink and the towers shiny silver. For extra magic, pop a little princess figure on top, perhaps some flags too!
